This morning Sandra spoke at the Leading Edge for Business Seminar, organised and run by University of Leicester.
The University has been running a number of breakfast seminar events over the past couple of months to highlight our business development training programmes ‘The Leading Edge – A tailored education for Business Needs’ programme and also to begin a meaningful dialogue with local business of all sizes – said Elain Crewe, Director of Professional & Flexible Learning – the Institute of Life Long Learning which is a part of the University of Leicester.
At this morning’s seminar (24/02/10), Sandra spoke on Managing People. The event has been so over subscribed that the University have asked Sandra if she might be available to run this seminar again, to cater for the 40 additional people who are on the waiting list for this topic.
So the next Managing People Seminar will take place on Wednesday 14 April 2010 at the Walkers Stadium in Leicester. For more information on what Sandra will cover please go to http://openmindcoaching.com/uncategorized/managing-people or to the University of Leicester’s own website http://www2.le.ac.uk/projects/theleadingedge?searchterm=leading%20edge both links will provide booking information.
This morning delegates were treated to a very interactive seminar aimed at assisting them with picking up some tips and skills on improving their own management style and on looking at how they interact with their staff. Delegates also got a chance to discuss specific management related issues in their daily lives.
