Who are these qualifications for?
The Level 2 qualifications in Team Leading are designed for practising or aspiring team leaders who wish to develop their team leading skills and knowledge.

The Level 2 Award in Team Leading is a concise qualification which enables you to strengthen and develop your knowledge of the various roles and responsibilities of a team leader through focusing on skills areas.
To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Award in Team Leading, you need to successfully complete at least one unit from Groups A or B to a minimum of 5 credits.
The Award can take as little as 2 to 3 weeks.
Certificate:
The Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading is a more extensive qualification which allows you to broaden your knowledge of team leading skills whilst still maintaining the flexibility to focus on the specific leadership areas appropriate to you and your workplace.
To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Certificate in Team Leading, you need to successfully complete any combination units from Groups A or B to a minimum of 15 credits.
The Certificate can take between 1 to 3 months.
Diploma:
The Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading is a more comprehensive structured qualification providing you with all of the key leadership skills to enable you to operate effectively as a Team Leader. It allows you to develop a range of team leadership competencies from building relationships within the workplace to controlling resources.
To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Team Leading, you need to complete all core units (Group A) and one optional unit (Group B) to a minimum total of at least 38 credits.
The Diploma can take between 6 to 12 months.
Level 3 Qualifications in First Line Management

The Diploma in Management and Leadership is a comprehensive qualification providing you with the key management skills to enable you to operate effectively as a middle manager. It allows you to develop a range of competencies from operational management principles and practises to the development of resource control and use. The Diploma in Management & Leadership is recognised by the Chartered Management Institute as the benchmark qualification for full membership of the Institute and enables you to progress towards Chartered Manager status.
To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Management and Leadership, you need to successfully complete all core units from Group A, at least one core unit from Group B and three optional units from Group C to a minimum total of 62 credits.
